Jennifer Wysocki

Jennifer brings over 25 years of dancing experience to her classes. Jennifer was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, where she danced and cheered throughout school. Next, Jennifer attended the University of Miami and joined the Hurricanes’ dance team.

While in college, Jennifer choreographed routines for teams across the country and judged national competitions for NCA/NDA, COA, AmeriCheer, Cheersport, and the Atlantic Cheer & Dance Championship. Later, Jennifer coached the all-girl cheer squad at Penn State—Abington Campus, and the Loyola College (now Loyola University) Dance Team in Baltimore, Maryland. Jennifer attended USA dance camps at the University of California—Santa Barbara with LCDT and took them to NDA-Division I College Dance Team Nationals in Daytona Beach. Jennifer was awarded Coach of the Year by Loyola for her work with the dance team. Next, Jennifer attended workshops with Darrin Henson, Wade Robson, the Knicks City Dancers, and the Philadelphia 76ers Dance Team. Jennifer also stayed current on her own personal dance skills by taking drop-in ballet, jazz, and hip-hop classes at Lou Conte in Chicago and NYC’s Broadway Dance Center.

Jennifer moved to the DC area in 2006, where she met her husband, Mike. Now, as a mom to Nina, she runs and enjoys fitness classes of all kinds. Jenn is the owner of Barre Yo and hosts her own barre classes at the new community corner here in Brambleton.

Most recently, Jennifer was voted Best Yoga Instructor for Posh Magazine’s “Best of Suburbia 2014.” Jennifer is really looking forward to seeing your children in her super fun dance classes!
